Eclipse
Eclipse Voyages
Witness the rarest spectacle in nature from the deck of a luxury ship, positioned precisely in the path of totality.
The Ultimate Celestial Event
A total solar eclipse is the single most extraordinary natural event a human being can witness. The sky darkens. The temperature drops. The sun’s corona blazes into visibility — a ring of light that is simultaneously terrifying and beautiful. Totality lasts minutes at most, and then it is over. No two eclipses are alike, and the window to see each one is measured in years.
Why Watch From a Ship
Ocean-based eclipse viewing has one massive advantage over land-based watching: mobility. If clouds form over the predicted viewing location, the ship can reposition. This dramatically improves the odds of a clear view compared to being fixed in one spot on land.
2027: The Eclipse of the Century
On August 2, 2027, the longest total solar eclipse until 2114 will cross North Africa and Southern Europe. Totality will last up to 6 minutes and 23 seconds — an eternity by eclipse standards. We are already building group packages on two exceptional ships positioned in the path.
Our Eclipse Packages
We offer two tiers for the 2027 eclipse. Our Select package on Cunard’s Queen Victoria offers a 14-night Southampton roundtrip via Tangier for $2,909 per person. Our Luxury package on Regent Seven Seas Grandeur offers a 9-night all-inclusive Barcelona-to-Rome sailing from $9,599 per person.
Group Advantages
Eclipse cruises sell out years in advance. Our group bookings secure blocks of cabins at current pricing, protecting against the price increases that inevitably happen as the date approaches. Groups of 16+ receive significant additional benefits including free cabins and onboard credits.
